Last Wednesday we sent my husband back home. To reality. And his job. And to take care of my mom's hermit cat. And then on Thursday we made heaven a true sorority house when my friend Michelle and her daughters Shannon and Diana joined us.
We've been having a grand time going to the beach, pool, out for ice cream. And then we had the genius plan of renting bikes for the girls..jpg)
There is a bike path that runs the length of the island, so we can send them out...and have a few minutes of peace and quiet..jpg)

Buh-bye! Ahhh...heaven. Still.
Looks like fun. Strange that today, I dusted off my bike and took a spin around the neighborhood! It was so much easier when I was a kid! hahaha Where is yours? hehehe Were they tired when they finished? Lord knows I was.

ReplyDeleteJoye--Uh, the grownups stayed inside. And took pictures from the balcony. And they got all nice and sweaty and jumped in the pool. Between the beach, pool, and bike riding, they are all going to sleep by 9 each night!
ReplyDeleteHeather--We are having the greatest time. And even today in our rains...it's so much fun to watch the wind whip everything into a frenzy. We are amused seeing all our floats go flying in the pool area. And the beach umbrella ending up next door.

Wow - I'm dreaming of the day when I can send my kids out for a bike ride... Everyone says "the toddler years go by so fast!" but I seem to be wading through diapers at a snails pace.
