Hey all! I talked to Kat a little bit ago. Michael had a good day - a little more low key than yesterday. He slept quite a bit, but they had some nice talks together. At this point the next "thing" up for him is the angioplasty on Wednesday... he'll be in ICU until then and for a while afterwards. That's really hard for everyone.
Tomorrow is a bit of a big deal, Kat has her CAT scan (ha ha KAT Scan). So please be thinking about her, and the girls will be coming home, too. That'll be good for them to be back home with their stuff and their kitties :)
One thing I was thinking about today is how when something like this happens, everyone is all about the praying and the well wishes and the support, but then as time passes and the... drama goes away... people kind of forget that there's still people that need our love and support. Life just gets busy. Just my .02 - I take a dry erase marker and put the names of people I'm praying for on my bathroom mirror.
So all in all things are okay. Keep praying, thinking, commenting, loving!!!
I can't wait to hear that Kat's family is all healthy and back together again...They have been on mind throughout the days...
ReplyDeleteLizzy: Great idea about the mirror and dry erase markers!!!

It's such a relief to check in and hear that Michael is doing so much better.
ReplyDeleteIt's also good that the girls are coming home to their kittys and things. My heart goes out to them, this must be such a scary time for them. There whole world has been shaken.
Kat, good luck with the CAT scan today, I'm positive that you will do fine !!
You all have been constantly in my thoughts and prayers. I check in during the day, just to see of Lizzie has updated. HUGS.
And as ever, thanks for the updates Lizzie !!!!
Okay, I've been reading the posts but not the comments. Her family is in my prayers but as far as Kat is concerned, has anyone suggested that it could be an inner ear infection? My dad was in the hospital for three days with symptoms that Kat has (the vertigo, dizziness...). they thought is was a stroke at first and after all the testing, realized it was an inner ear infection. The symptoms lasted for about six weeks and all they could do was give him motion sickness medicine to head off the symptoms. Worth suggesting.
ReplyDeleteI look at them every morning...while brushing my teeth...their 4 sweet faces in my bathroom. And I pray...
ReplyDeleteOh, believe me, Kat and Michael are STILL in my thoughts.
ReplyDeleteDo they need anything?
ReplyDeleteThinking of you, Kat. HUGS!
ReplyDeleteStill Praying!
