Well...my day today was spent playing with this blog! I searched the web...and actually found a blog on how to blog! It was quite helpful...and now I have a three column blog instead of two columns. And, big news is that I finally figured out how to insert html code for my music playlist! Not that I understand the code...but I did figure it out...somehow! Techno savvy I am not. My next chore is to try and figure out how to insert a photo into this text. I realize that I blog the same way that I cook. I like to add a little of this, a little of that...but I could never duplicate my actions.
Katie finished her school work before lunch today...and informed me that her math is too easy. What should we do when it's too easy? Skip it?! Maybe I should just have her move ahead and do the next days work. Everyday is an experiment for the guinea pig (err...I mean Katie.)
When Madalyn got home from school today she said she had learned a trick from one of her classmates. It was on how to pull out a tooth! She had managed to pull out her top tooth and now she has an adorable gap!

Excellent job on your new blog!
So I scrolled down your blog to find your music playlist and it started playing, and instantly my blood pressure started rising. Why? My dh decided I should try playing that song on expert on Rock Band! Kicks my a$$ every time. But I am determined. One day...
(Nice blog, by the way!)
Genie--
Thanks for stopping by! I missed that you had left a comment - and I have been switching around my playlist - so is it "Orange Crush" the song that gets you? I enjoyed your blog as well - and added it to my page! I LOVE, LOVE the LOST counter - where or where can I get me one of those??!
Okay, so I deserve a public flogging for commenting then disappearing for over a month! Sorry! I have made some resolutions to be more regular in my blogging and commenting.
Yes, it was Orange Crush. My dh is a drummer, and he wanted me to try the rhythm pattern in Orange Crush on expert. I tried. I really tried. I only made it through about 7% of the song. And I was breathing HARD by the time I failed. I can get through maybe about 18% of it now. :-)
Oh, the LOST counter, I got it here: http://www.lost4815162342.com/countdown.htm
So, I hope you have your email set to notify you of comments, because this post is really buried now and I don't know if you will notice it otherwise. I will comment on a more recent post and make reference to this, just in case. :-)
Again, sorry for the "hit and run"!
Aha, you had music figured out by your third post. Impressive!
That smile is sooo cute !!
We tried to convince Taylor recently, that if she tied her loose tooth to a doornob, then we could pull it out that way. But she was not convinced. ;-)
What a trick to learn! My youngest has her first two loose teeth currently. And her permanents are coming in behind them. Ugh. So the dentist has requested that we wiggle and jiggle the two bottom baby teeth as often as possible to get them out as soon as possible. The two permanent teeth need the room to move forward and the sooner, the better.
And my oldest is already in braces. She got them at the ripe old age of 7. eeks
Maybe Madalyn needs to show Greyson the tooth pulling trick!
Took me awile to figure out the HTML thingy, but I'm getting the hang of it....
Sometimes I make changes to my blog late at night, so that people won't notice the weird stuff. I have received the occassional email though asking if I knew my blog was acting strange :-)
