UPDATE: We have a winner. Thanks so much for all who commented. Even those of you who said you had more than enough...or that you weren't ready to start...or that you didn't want to enter because you'd feel guilty about auctioning it all off on ebay. And then...somehow this contest got posted on the "Red Hot Sweepstakes" message board. I am sooo very curious as to how it got there in the first place! But I hope those of you that came from there might come back again to visit. I promise to have more give aways. I still have more scrapbook stuff to give away. And in honor of well behaved Krissy, I might just do a Disney themed contest.
So...without further ado, the winner is TALISMAN. You all need to go and check out her site. She has some hilarious stories about being a chemist...and a homeschooling mom...and has a son that knows how to stab himself in the back of the neck with a pencil. And very soon she'll be posting pictures of scrapbooking 10 years of pictures that are currently in boxes.
The past few Sundays I have delivered unto you a sermon. About things I am very passionate about. About taking photos...and making sure that you document your stories. I really thought I was preachin' to the choir. That as bloggers, we are writers...and photographers. But then I discovered that a lot of you do keep up with your family albums...but you needed encouragement. Encouragement to keep doing what you are doing...encouragement to get back on track...and encouragement to get started in the first place.
I was a Creative Memories consultant for almost 9 years. And part of being a consultant was to have inventory on hand. And when I retired...I still had inventory on my shelves. And today...I still have some of that inventory on my shelves. Because I am too lazy to put it all on ebay I have decided to share the wealth...and offer the ultimate encouragement...FREE supplies!
Here is what one lucky winner will get:
Denim 12x12 album with 15 white pages:
A set of 8 pens - four fine tip, four round tip in an organizer case (also an incentive gift...never available for sale):Organizer box for your photos (this was never for sale either - I think it was a hostess incentive gift), adhesive, corner rounder:
Short Cuts paper packs (these are great for adding just a splash of color to your pages)
ABC letters for titles:Decorative stuff (stickers, die cuts, and embellishments): And I will include extras specific to the winner - so, if your kids play football, I have football things to include; if you have a new baby, I have scrapbook themed things for that as well. And if your baby isn't anywhere near "new," but you never made a baby album...I can hook ya up!So...How do you win? All you need to do is post a comment and let me know what you are going to do with your prize. Are you going to keep it and add it to your stash? Are you going to finally start? Are you going to give it as a gift? Are you going to sell it on ebay because you'll never ever start that project? Wait...don't tell me that last one. Make up something. Anything.
The legalese: contest is open to anyone in the 48 states (My husband tells me I am too cheap to mail elsewhere); one entry per person (feel free to come back and comment - ya'll know I like chatting - but just one comment will count); contest is open until noon (Eastern time), May 20th...and winner will be posted by 8pm on that same day. Good luck!

How exciting! I love scrapbook supplies. I love buying them and spending way too much money on them. I have only ever made 2 scrapbooks in my life, with 2 more in the works. I would love the extra supplies to add to my stash. Maybe this summer I will have more time to work on them! Good luck with the contest!
Hey Katrina,
I would absolutely LOVE this stuff. I promise to give it a good home housing my 1000's, I mean millions of pictures that I have been feverishly working on finally putting in albums. While I am on summer break from school, my plan is to QUICKLY (and maybe creatively, we'll see) put all my remaining homeless photos into albums. I can do it!!!!! Free stuff would be sweet! :-)
Oooh, that stuff looks fun. I love scrapbooking. I used to have to do it right away, within days of the event I was scrapping about. But I've learned that I actually do a better job if I wait a bit for some better perspective on it.
I noticed on your profile that you are a homeschooling Georgia mom, so I just wanted to stop and say since I'm one, too! Please come visit my blog sometime!
I am really happy to have found your blog - I have just started scrapbooking (and blogging/reading blogs for that matter). My first scrapbook was my husband's family tree (1749 - Present), his family had photos from 1901, I'm really proud of it. My second is volume 1of my daughter, birth to 2nd grade. I would love to win your giveaway! I have two more family tree books to work on and of course more volumes of my daughter (now age 23).
I was too late for the pink swap, so I'll do this now. Neat give away! I would love to win this cool prize. I confess that scrapbooking/ crafting is scary for me. Because of your previous "sermon" on journaling your photos, I was saved! I did start my first album with last Christmas pics. It is fun to look back record the stories abut the presents, food, drinking, and visits.
I know that any materials would be used in my fledgling supply (assort small squares, 10 calligraphy pens, red 8x8 scrapbook). If I am chosen, I will actually promise to do a post on scrapbook/photo journal made me. Thanks for doing this. How exciting!
How generous of you to offer such beautiful and long lasting gifts! If I win, will get all my grandson's photos, that haven't made the walls, into a special book for him!
What fun!
I promise to use the supplies to do a scrapbook of my son's high school years. He is a senior next year and I need to get going on this.
Thanks for the opportunity!
DebMc aka Happy from WTM
Wow Kat, you are so amazingly generous to offer such a huge supply of items! My hero! If I were to win, I would use some of it to finish the 5 albums (you read that right) that I'm currently working on. Two baby albums, two family albums and a Christmas album. I would also use part of it to finally make an album for my grandmother for Christmas this year. She's losing memories and family recognition and I would love to present her with something that she can look at daily to remind her of how much we love her. Thanks and good luck to everyone!
Hey Katrina
I just got in from out of town... You know I love scrapbooking stuff :) I was in NC, Biltmore and Lake Lure, one of my old college roommates from California flew into Western NC for her Neice's wedding :) It was a lot of fun! I have almost a years backlog on pictures.... gosh, I feel so behind.
Anyway.... This is fun, so Good Luck to all! And Thanks for having a contest. I really like your blog!
Jeanine
How fun Katrina! I would love to enter your drawing for CM stuff and if I win, I would use it to start a small family album to take to Mexico this summer. It's been on my mind for a while to do so this would be a perfect way to start!
Pick me...Pick me...
~Lanny
Love the idea of the giveaway and would probably ask the girls to help me a do a summer album. Denali is starting to enjoy scrapping too. And she actually finishes her pages :)
Look at all you lurkers coming out of the woodwork for a contest! I love it! And look at all the album projects that are being inspired.
I love your giveaway.... It is great.
I would have to say I would use it to play catch up and to scrap everything we are doing this summer....
Kat,
What a good idea for a giveaway! And, look at all the traffic you're getting. I'm impressed!
If I won, I use these supplies to make my very FIRST scrapbook ever! I've done lots of regular photo albums, but never a scrapbook. I think I would LOVE it, I've just never gone out and gotten the supplies to start. This would jumpstart me. hehe
I'll post on my website that you're having a contest...send more people your way. :o)
Rhea -- Thanks so much! You know how I love comments...and stats. I am very excited about this contest...and about clearing out some of my shelves.
I'm gonna to finally start.

Thanks for offering this giveaway! If I won, I'd use the items to scrap with my kids. We are (slowly) working on a family album. I have my own that I make in my own way, but the family album is more of a let loose and have fun sort of concept.
I made one scrapbook when my first son was born- that was 4 years ago! Another child and a stack of photos and memories later I really would like to start scrapbooking again and this would be the perfect way to get me started! Thank you for the giveaway!
I really want to start doing this, but have lacked the motivation and "sense" of what I need. Then the not knowing leads to cost issues...and well, its never been done...YET. I guess if I were to win, I would definately give it the old college try.
Oh happy day!! We are all excited about your giveaway. Put my name in the pot. :) ~Jill
Kat -
Givin' it away is way more fun than Ebaying it ;-) You're the bomb!!
Hey, don't throw my name in the pot, 'cause I've got enough scrapbook stuff to last me for years. I just had to comment and tell you how awesome you are :-)
There is no way, no how that I would give away or sell that stuff. I am drooling over that denim album...that will totally get me motivated to start my daughter's scrapbook...she turns 8 Thursday...and her memories are on my hard drive. So I won't beg. Well, maybe I will...just a little;)
OK...here's the deal. I actually DON'T want to win. (Now that I said that, you'll pick my name.) Because I am a scrapper and even have an entire room of my own (I know...awesome, right?) in which to scrap. It's a girly room...each wall is a different color...hot pink, lime green, tangerine nd bright yellow...with lots of black and white furniture. The ultimate set-up, complete with an enormous walk-in closet in which to store my supplies.
But here's the deal. I'm not bragging. I'm actually rather ashamed. Because my eldest is 6 and I've just completed her 3rd year. And my baby is 2.5 and I haven't even finished her 1st year. I went from being the woman who scrapped so much she needed her own room to being the woman who uses that room as a pass through on the way to my husband's "Man's Room." I've promised myself I'll return to my scrapping passion this summer, but who am I kidding? I'll be in the pool. This fall I'll get back on track. Definitely.
p.s. You are AWESOME for doing this giveaway. And for having Jeff Buckley on your website because I adore him. Adore him!
Okay, so I'm drooling here. Love to scrapbook, and I'm only a little behind..... about 4 of 5 ...... years..... but who's counting? I'm playing catch up and all this stuff is giving me hot flashes.
What a really nice thing you are doing. Thank you so very much for your thoughtfulness.
Well, I'm working on a scrapbook and would love to add some new pages with this stuff!
We also have 2 new baby's coming (hopefully) in July to our family (both boys)...
Thanks so much!
ababe28(at)hotmail.(c0m)
I would give it to my mom, cause she is the BESTEST scrapbooker ever. She has made three scrapbooks (one for each of us kids) and she is already working on one for her. I would pass it along.
I have all my pictures ready to start our school year album. This would be perfect for that.
With something like that I could probably start to organize the case-sized diaper box of pictures I have of my kids that contain pictures as old as the birth of #1 almost 10 years ago. Well actually I have his ultrasound pics in that box too. (Ok I have ultrasound pics of all of them in that box)
Considering I have 3 boys now ages ranging from 10-2 I would probably do a "boys" theme album so it would have pictures of all of them from birth on up. =-)
And then I would, of course, take pictures of said album and post it on my blog to show off my lack of creativity for everyone to snicker at and yet, somehow, still be proud of what I accomplished. :-P
Hmm, what will I do with my winnings? Let's see...
The woman who got me into scrapbooking was one of those who scrapped EVERY SINGLE photo with very little journaling (and insisted that it was the *only* way). I tried it in the beginning, and quickly burned out.
After a several year hiatus, I started again. Now I'm in the process of going back and adding the stories to those early pages, and scrapbooking the normal, daily doings of our family. You know - Pancake Sundays, the much loved baby blanket held together with love and a prayer, and our family's obsession with sci-fi shows.
And if I win, I promise to post some photos on my blog so you can see that your gift was well-loved :D
I can't stand NOT to comment because I love you so much but, I'll be honest, I just don't have the time or room to scrapbook right now. I know...I know...
I just had to comment and say hi. And that I LOVE Eddie Vedder. His voice...oh la la.
haha! First time I've stopped by your blog and I hit the jackpot. :) haha!
We are serious Disney folks and we scrapbook each trip. Would love that organizer and corner rounder, my poor rounder is just about rounded out.
Either way I think your blog is cool. So cute! and the quote above is awesome.
Come visit me sometime.
I have always wanted to start scrapbooking but don't exactly know what I need to get started. So I think that if I won this giveaway then I would have enough to at least get going. Especially now... the boys are grwoing so fast and I take a ton of pictures. So I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a win. And if it's not me Good luck to everyone else.
Wow, I never win anything! =-) Thanks!!!
*taps microphone*
First, I'd like to thank my wonderful husband for knocking me up three times and giving me the opportunity to enter this contest. Without him I'd have no pictures sitting in a box for the last 10 years. And of course, Kodak for the wonderful film-based cameras they provide and I can't forget my digital camera either...
*teardrop*
I promise that you'll see the pictures on my blog and you can totally mock me for my lack of creativity.
I can't believe that I missed this opportunity. I really don't need anymore scrapbook supplies for myself, but I could have used those items for the homeschool raffle. It really pays to visit on a daily basis. I missed 2 days b/c we were so busy and didn't get to check in on your blog.
Hope all is well though. Tell Mike I said "Happy Birthday".
Rhonda
Bother, bother, bother ... I missed this one!!!
