The day lilies are in bloom in the yard. And they are just gorgeous. Begging me to take their pictures. But for some reason, I cannot just take a picture of them. I must get as close as possible. And then...closer still.So...what about you? Do you take close up pictures of the flowers in your yard? What is the strangest thing you have taken a picture of for a blog post?

love these pics!
yes i have hundreds of flower pictures on my computer...
oddest thing i've photographed?
probably a gnome :)
love the colors and depth in your pics!
Oh my. Beautiful! I wish I could grow something like that! Strangest picture - inside of my fridge to prove how seriously small it is.
I have taken some rather odd photos for my blog. LOL A rusty gate, the contents of my purse, my mosquito eaten foot. LOL Blogs and cameras make weird friends. :)
Seriously, you are a woman after my own heart. I LOVE photographing lilies, and those colors are gorgeous! I actually make a hobby of close up flower pictures (check out my flickr page sometime), and am DYING to get a digital SLR with a macro lens. Someday...
So pretty :-) I love taking pictures of flowers, too!
Those are great shots! I have similar lilies in my yard. I have taken lots of weird pictures for blog posts...alcohol, feet, nekkid hineys. LOL
Simply gorgeous!
Pretty. If I could keep flowers alive long enough to take pictures of them....
Gorgeous pictures!! The weirdest thing I ever put on my blog was a picture of medicine. Not the greatest for a foodie blog, right?
Those are beautiful! Every now and then I'll snap pictures of the flowers in my yard as well.
My Stella D'Oro lilies are putting on a big show right now. I'd take pictures of them, but well...I have blogs to read. "Lost In Austen" to watch. Mixed tapes (CDs) to create. A pool to swim in. And on and on and on...
I've taken a few pics of flowers. They actually turn out nice with the new camera.
I take pics of my toes...cause I love to show off my pedicure!
I have lots of daylilies blooming, too, but not that color! It's beautiful!
I am also guilty of taking these exact pictures of the innards of my flowers. I hope they don't feel as if they've been vandalized.
And if you go to my blog, you'll see my most recent post of a photo taken purely for blog fodder.
Yes, I take close ups too :) The strangest thing I have taken a picture of was probably my garbage :)
Love these pix. I am a sucka for close ups. You should create a hardbound book of your favorite close up stuff. I'm doing that.
As far as the strangest picture for my blog, I think everything is fair game in blogland. So nothing is strange anymore. You know?
these are georgia o'keefe beautiful. I love taking these kinds of pics.
found you c/o SITS

I love day lilies :) Your flowers are sooo sooo beautiful =) The only thing I have in my backyard right now is alot of mud (no grass yet), ticks, a fun polka dot hummingbird feeder and another regular bird feeder. So this Summer, I'm going to pretend I live in your backyard, K?
I never answer your questions! Sorry :(
I'm not such a great photographer, so nope, I really don't take close up pictures....and the strangest thing I've taken a picture of to post on my long lost blog (boo hoo) has probably been.....you guessed it....BOILED EGGS!!!!!! hee heeee heee
GORGEOUS! Just beautiful!
I wish I had flowers growing in my yard. Nope. I killed a nice bunch last year. They didn't even last through the summer. LOL
Strangest thing for my blog...a picture of my toddler's booty, with a pen stuck in it. Well, in his CRACK. Good stuff.
Oh those are gorgeous! I only wish ours were blooming. Someday... and absolutely I take closeups of great flowers. When we have them. Someday.
Way cool flower pictures!!! I love them! I do take tons of flower pics, amongst other things. Not sure what the strangest thing is that I've photo'd, especially for the blog..maybe the balloons on my ceiling?
those are some beautiful photos!
I've seen bunches of that type flower around here...only they're a plain yellow. Yeah, I've taken close ups of the irises in my front yard. The grandiose things aren't the ONLY things that are beautiful. Sometimes it's the smaller things that are worth the look-see.
Hmmm... strangest thing I've taken a picture of for a blog post?
Does Shane count? ;)
I guess I'd have to say the baby goats on my back deck... or the four horses in my front yard.
Nice dispatch and this fill someone in on helped me alot in my college assignement. Say thank you you on your information.
