Blooming trees in our yard - but I have absolutely no idea what kind of trees they are - anyone? anyone? anyone?

Maybe if I had some trees I could help you out. Because I live in the arctic desert, I don't so I' can't. They are SO pretty to look at though. I like the red one.
Uh, hmm, what kind are they? I vote for the pretty kind. Yeah, that's it ;)
Debbie and Heather--Exactly :-) We're calling the white one a "Snowball" and the red one just is pretty. Even my landscaper asked me what they were...no clue!
Red Buckeye & Button Bush.
Beautiful!
Jenny
Jenny -- Yippee...thank you very much! I wish I had the ability to name more than crepe myrtles and wisteria :-) Oh...and your book went out today...should get there tomorrow.
Very pretty! I'm impressed with Jenny!! Love the crocs below too. :) ~Jill
Jill--Have you recovered from your weekend? And, yes, I am rather impressed with Jenny as well. I knew my bloggy friends could help me out!
Jenny is the Queen of plants. She can identify anything!!!
I was going to vote with Debbie. :-)
Beautiful flowers!

Happy WW
Jenny to the rescue!! I had no idea. I've not seen either of these varieties out here. But they are pretty!
Patricia and Susan--I'll have to remember that about Jenny. My landscaper is here right now...and when we were deciding on plants, I had to show her other yards because I have no idea what anything is called. I'll just have to send Jenny some pictures and ask for names!
Yep, my comment is "pretty trees" too. Glad that Jenny is more helpful!
Those are pretty! I love this time of year! :o)
I am pretty sure the red one is called a hummingbird bush. Because the flowers are long and the hunmmingbird beak fits right down in it. Or, at least, that is what my Mom calls them. She could just be making it up though!
Kat, you know I don't speak plant or tree. I've tried...my mom even tries to translate for me...but I'm hopelessly slow at learning.
Beautiful pictures though. I can tell you tried to go wordless...
Notice I don't even attempt to do the wordless thing...I can't do it! Just not possible...
Pretty! I cant wait to see more of your yard... It will make me feel somuch better! Ours has so much work to do... We have only been here 2 years, and we have alawn in... so thats a start! lol
Happy late WW!
Lisa
